Health Care

Eagle has extensive experience in the development of software for health care applications. Through our partnership with Vocollect Healthcare Systems, and Adherence Technologies, Eagle developed applications for nursing homes, surveys of diabetic patients, and medication compliance. We understand Health Level 7, that standard for exchange of Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Minimum Data Set (MDS), the required format for transmission of patient assessment data.

Web Applications

Eagle began developing web-based applications for its customers in 1996. Eagle was in the forefront of developing C++ applications that interfaced with Internet Information Services (our first web-based applications used IIS 1.0). In recent years, Eagle has employed SQL Server and Coldfusion to design state-of-the-art web applications for the United States Postal Service and Vocollect Healthcare Systems.

Windows

Eagle has been developing Windows-based software for a variety of clients since 1992. Over half of Eagle's software developers are experienced Windows programmers. As each new version of Windows (2003, 2000, XP) is released, Eagle's software engineers quickly port their customer's major applications forward. The result is that both the customer products and Eagle's expertise remain current.

Linux

Eagle is using Fedora Linux as the basis for an exciting new software platform for the delivery of home entertainment. We have added several new features to the Linux-based MythTV for provide easy-to-use PCs for the storage and playing of music and video.

Eagle has also been a provider of Linux development, configuration, and testing expertise to the USPS since 1998. Every night, the USPS processes 200 million mailpieces through its mail automation systems, including critical real-time Linux applications that are enhanced and maintained by Eagle.

Voice

Eagle develops telephony solutions, including speech recognition. These systems include use of Envox Studio for development of telephony dialogs, Open Speech Recognizer for speech recognition, and related VoIP infrastructure. We have many years of experience with voice-driven applications.

Networks

100% percent of Eagle's work involves networked systems. Eagle develops and maintains real-time systems for the Postal Service. These systems transmit video images of mail pieces over high-speed networks and also transmit zip codes to be applied to physical envelopes. Eagle develops XML-based systems to transfer health care data in a secure manner over wide-area networks. Eagle develops reporting systems that gather statistics from computers distributed nation-wide, and summarize the data into web-based reports.

Embedded Real-Time Systems

Eagle has developed and improved real-time embedded systems for the United States Postal Service (USPS), and other clients, since 1992. Eagle's engineers have significant experience with real-time systems for a number of critical projects including NASA's space shuttle, and military multi-level secure networks.

Embedded real-time systems present a number of unique challenges to programmers: interrupt latency, tight memory space, multi-tasking, robustness, race and boundary condition handling, and real-time network communications. Eagle's engineers have significant experience in all of these areas, under Linux, Windows, VMS, and DOS. Eagle understands embedded real-time systems and can make them work for you.
