PC Technician

We have an immediate opening for a PC Technician located in Fairfax, VA. Candidate must be experienced in installing, maintaining, trouble-shooting, and upgrading computer hardware and software, networks, and peripheral equipment. Solid teamwork and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.

Duties include:

• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software
• Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors and network infrastructure
• Trouble-shoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software. Make repairs and corrections where required
• Assist users to resolve problems with equipment and data
• Perform backups of all computers on a periodic basis

The successful candidate will have:

• 2 years experience in computer installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of PC hardware
• Knowledge of Windows Server 2000, 2003, and Windows XP operating systems
• Knowledge of fundamental networking hardware and concepts
• Ability to write scripts and create batch files as a means to automate manual procedures
• Microsoft certification is a plus. Experience as a software and hardware tester is particularly useful

Senior Software Engineer

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer located in Fairfax, VA. The job requires:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with 1-2 years in a technical management role
• Web server development experience in at least 3 of the following technologies: C#, ASP/ASP.NET, ColdFusion, C++, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, WebSphere, Java, ActiveDirectory
• Experience with J2EE on at least one server platform
• Strong design and analysis skills

The primary assignment will be as the technical lead on a web-based application development effort. Duties will include technical project management, technical leadership, trouble-shooting, and software coding when necessary.

We have an immediate opening for a Software Test Engineer located in Fairfax, VA. The job requires:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a software tester
• Good knowledge of Windows, Linux operating systems
• Ability to trouble-shoot software and hardware problems
• Ability to write software scripts for automation
• Microsoft certification is a plus.

Primary duties will be the testing of new software applications, as well as testing of enhancements to existing applications. Duties will also include writing and following test plans.

Director of Business Development

We are seeking an individual with a successful background of developing business and opening new markets in government and industry, in the area of software development, system integration, and testing. Experience working with government agencies and the United States Postal Service is especially valuable. The ideal candidate will have in-depth understanding of, and experience with one or more government agencies. The successful candidate will be someone who can help Eagle successfully identify and win new software development business within one of the aforementioned markets. Previous experience and contacts in acquisition in the target markets is particularly valuable.
