Making Donations to Holy Trinity Using Amazon Smile

Parishioners can painlessly support Holy Trinity by shopping at AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way to support the parish every time a purchase is made (at Amazon), at no cost to the purchaser.

For eligible purchases at AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to the parish. The purchase price for each item is the sale price, excluding shipping, handling, and gift-wrapping fees, taxes, and service charges, and less any rebates, returns, and bad debt. Certain items such as digital-media products (Kindle e-books) and products purchased through Amazon's subscribe-and-save program are not eligible for AmazonSimile and will not result in donations.

The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. All donation amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.

The program is available to all shoppers who visit Amazon via a special Web address — smile.amazon.com — instead of the normal Amazon.com homepage.

The shopping experience that a supporter encounters on the AmazonSmile landing page will otherwise be identical to the regular Amazon.com site — same selection, same prices — with the exception that eligible products will be marked as such on product detail pages.
